Now is the time to review your Medicare Advantage Plan

Believe it or not the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is less than 2 months away (October 15-December 7).

Just 5 weeks from now if you are in a Medicare Advantage plan, you will receive your Annual Notice of Changes (ANOC).

AND CHANGES THERE WILL MOST DEFINITLY BE!

Now is a great time to put a plan in place to review your Medicare Advantage plan. These ANOC’s can be confusing at times especially to someone who doesn’t read them everyday.

The good news is that YOU HAVE CHOICES! Western Pennsylvania used to be dominated by only two carriers. Now there are at least half a dozen Medicare Advantage carriers in our area. So, it would be in your best interest to find someone who has access to all of the carriers in our area, not just a specific one or two.

Find an agent who can compare all of your options. Look at the formularies on each Medicare Advantage plan.

• Which plans give you the most access to the most doctors, not just in Pittsburgh, but around the country?
• Which plans allow you to do virtual visits?
• Which plans have lower premiums or out of pocket costs than others?
